Product overview

Smart irrigation control hardware for drip and field systems.

Soil moisture sensor nodes and edge controllers that automate existing drip and open-field valves. Bloomiot does not sell drip irrigation kits — optional hardware is quoted per deployment and is never included in Workspace checkout.

IoT sensor nodes

Soil Sensor Node

Remote sensing node for agro-industrial applications.

Field-grade IoT device designed for ultra-low power and remote operation. It integrates Li-SOCl2 cell power with a pulse energy reservoir, LoRaWAN connectivity and full compatibility with industrial signals over RS-485 / Modbus RTU and 4-20 mA, bringing reliable field data to the irrigation platform.

  • LoRaWAN
  • Ultra-low power
  • RS-485 / Modbus RTU
  • 4-20 mA input
  • Li-SOCl2 3.6 V
  • IP field connectors

Usage advantages

  • Brings measurement close to the plot or hydraulic point without long data wiring.
  • Eases integration with existing industrial sensors via 4-20 mA and RS-485 / Modbus RTU.
  • Architecture aligned with low-maintenance, long-life remote nodes.
  • LoRaWAN connectivity for distributed deployments across open fields.

Technical features

Power
Li-SOCl2 3.6 V non-rechargeable cell with pulse energy reservoir.
Battery life
Long service life thanks to ultra-low power draw — approximately 3 years.
Wireless
Pre-certified LoRaWAN module over SPI with controlled 3V3_LORA rail.
Inputs
1x 4-20 mA, 1x RS-485 / Modbus RTU and battery measurement via ADC.
Outputs
1x RS-485 / Modbus RTU and SPI interface to the LoRa module.
Field
IP waterproof connectors for reliable in-field wiring.

Edge controller

Edge Controller

Local industrial controller for agricultural irrigation.

Local decision and actuation unit for irrigation systems. It receives data from LoRaWAN nodes, reads industrial sensors on-site, executes control logic, detects abnormal hydraulic conditions through pressure sensing, and reports telemetry, alarms and events to the cloud platform.

  • 9-30 VDC input
  • Local decision
  • Valve control
  • Telemetry & alarms
  • RS-485 / 4-20 mA
  • RTC + non-volatile memory

Usage advantages

  • Runs irrigation decisions locally even when cloud connectivity is lost.
  • Integrates industrial sensors, digital inputs and actuators in a single unit.
  • Helps supervise hydraulic behavior through pressure sensing.
  • Scales to telemetry, alarms and dashboards through a LoRaWAN gateway.

Technical features

Power
Industrial 9-30 VDC input, typical 24 VDC operation.
Protection
Reverse polarity, fuse / PTC and TVS input protection at the front-end.
Control
Main MCU running the local irrigation control logic.
Interfaces
RS-485, 4-20 mA analog inputs and digital inputs.
Wireless
Pre-certified LoRaWAN subsystem for node and gateway communication.
Memory / Time
Non-volatile memory and RTC for persistence, timestamps and scheduling.
Actuation
24 V relay outputs and DC latching valve outputs.

Field connectivity layer

LoRaWAN gateway and link orchestration between remote nodes and the cloud.

Monitoring dashboard

Unified view for telemetry, alarms and operational control across every site.

Optional field devices

Compatible hardware — sold separately, never through Workspace checkout.

Bloomiot Workspace is a cloud software subscription. Optional sensor nodes and edge controllers can connect to it, but physical hardware is quoted and fulfilled offline by Bloomiot sales — it is not sold, shipped, or billed through the website Scale checkout (Paddle).
